But, what makes a GOOD crispy chicken sandwich?

Firstly, a good fried chicken sandwich must be crispy on the outside while being golden, tender, and juicy in the inside, with a slight spicy flavor. And when we bite into the sandwich, the chicken should easily come apart. Obviously, all of this needs to be in high-quality bread, topped with a delicious sauce and condiments. There you have it!

For you, we have thus visited several restaurants that offer this specialty on the South Shore and since we want to support local businesses, we did not consider the big international chains. We therefore present you our 3 choices that could each deserve the title of the best fried chicken sandwich on the South Shore. These will surely satisfy your taste buds!

Olivia’s Poulet Authentique

1463 Ch. de Chambly, Longueuil, QC J4J 3X4

Olivia’s Authentic Chicken is a restaurant that warmly welcomes you and offers a very tasty fried chicken burger with a nice portion of chicken in the sandwich.
